Structure of the Order

Life in the Rubber Order is conducted in a sort of monastic structure. The vast majority of members in the Order are Brothers or Sisters, and are equal. There are a few special ranks within the Rubber Order to note, however.

Mother Superior

The spiritual leader and founder of the Rubber Order. Mila Dallas is the one who had the vision for an inclusive and supportive fetish community in SecondLife, after searching and searching and not finding any fetish communities that espoused values of equality and self expression.

Reverend Father

The Mother Superior's consort and co-leader of the Rubber Order. LeoTiger Dallas is an anthropomorphic tiger with a love of all things latex and a special fondness for leotards.

Abbot or Abbess

An Abbot or Abbess within the Rubber Order is someone who has demonstrated a commitment to the ideals of the order, and a willingness to set their own desire to be restrained aside to help their Brothers and Sisters enjoy the true freedom of being bound and helpless. The Abbot or Abbess bears the mantle of responsibility so that others may be free of the emotional burden that one carries when not bound.

Martyr

Those who forsake all liberties and accept the true freedom of being bound inescapably and permanently are Martyrs of the Rubber Order. These individuals are bound and kept under fairly secure restrictions at all times, and are as much an icon or relic of the Rubber Order as they are members.
